Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.
This week, I'm excited about:
What if you woke up and didn't know where you were?
What if you didn't know who you were?
And what if, when your memories started to come back--what if they didn't match the you that you're supposed to be?
Ava is welcomed home from the hospital by a doting mother, lively friends, and a crush finally beginning to show interest. There's only one problem: Ava can't remember any of them--and can't shake the eerie feeling that she's not who they say she is.
Ava struggles to break through her amnesiac haze as she goes through the motions of high-school life, but the memories that surface take place in a very different world, where Ava and familiar-faced friends are under constant scrutiny and no one can be trusted. Ava doesn't know what to make of these visions, or of the boy who is at the center of them all, until he reappears in her life and offers answers . . . but only in exchange for her trust.
This sounds so good that I frankly don't even know what to say. I want it. NOW.
Skye never questioned the story of her life. Her Aunt Jo adopted her after the death of her parents when she was just a child, and together they flip through memories the way some people flip through photo albums.
She never questioned if the stories were true.
Until the night of her 17th birthday, when the arrival of two strangers intrudes on her cozy life. Polar opposites, like fire and ice, Asher is dark and wild, while Devin is fair, cold, and aloof. Skye has no idea what they want—only that their presence coincides with the beginning of some shockingly strange events. Events that Skye, if she dares to think it, might be responsible for causing.
High up in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, Skye finds herself caught in the middle of an ancient battle, one that began untold millennia ago. Torn between unpredictable Asher, whom she loves, and the infuriating Devin, who she can’t stay away from, her fate is murky as a starless night. And as the secrets of her true identity are revealed, Skye realizes that her destiny may reside in the Heavens—or somewhere darker.
Cliched love triangle + angels + shocking events? I'm sold.
After all, it was the premise of Unearthly (review here), and look how it turned out. I still have hope, you guys!
What are you excited for?

Have you read anything else by Elizabeth Scott? Because As I Wake sounds more interesting of the two, but too much relies on the writing. It'll either be amazing or a huge disappointment.
Your second pick? Truth be told, I couldn't make through the blurb. Sorry.
I just added A Beautiful Dark to my TBR list yesterday. I hope it turns out to be a good read. *fingers crossed*

Yes! Both of these sound awesome! The covers are stunning too. I can't wait for them, either.
