Follow Friday à la Blog Hop, with a side of Silly

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View.

This week's question:

Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100FACTSABOUTME, GIVE US FIVE BOOK RELATED SILLY FACTS ABOUT YOU.

Silly, you say? That's good. Silly is my specialty.

1. I can be obsessed with a book I've not even read (see my daydreams about Abandon by Meg Cabot).

2. I love my Kindle. I don't understand how I ever lived without it. I used to have to wait to read books! Can you imagine? Me neither.

3. When reading an actual paper copy, I need the book to stay in pristine condition. If the pages are dogeared or the cover is bent, I get twitchy.

4. I have book ADD. I want to start approximately 10 books in the time it takes me to read one. Fortunately, I can stop myself or I'd never actually finish anything.

5. I often forget the narrator's name when I review a book.

Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event that enables people to hop all over each other make new friends and be enthusiastic about books in general. Join the fun! Go over at Crazy for Book.

This weeks question is:

"If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"

Oh dear god. So, so many choices. Um

Um.

... Um...

/indecision

I think  it would be the Wicked Lovely series. The faeries world is intriguing, enchanting and scary while keeping this mysterious, alluring air that just draws you (and me) in. I'd love to sit down and have a chat with Niall (and um... Do other stuff, too.)

What about you? Where would you want to be if you could literally dive into a book?

Ohh, the Wicked Lovely series would be awesome to be in! I really, really can't wait to read Abandon, I see why you're so obsessed! :) Here's my Hop!

Hehe! You're funny!! I haven't read the Wicked Lovely series! The only series that I could think of were really violent ones like the Alex Cross series or The Hunger Games...but I ended up choosing Narnia heh! :)

LOL! I have book ADD too. There are just so many good books, and of course my library always decides to send me all of my inter-library loan books at the same time so I have a stack to decide between. I get very twitchy if my books aren't in pristine condition too.

I love your pink stripes, btw :)

Stopping by on the Hop. It's funny you should mention the Wicked Lovely series. I'm trying to decide between finishing books 2 & 3 of the Iron Fey series or switching to Wicked Lovely for a bit. Decisions, decisions.

Hey there, old follower hopping through. I just wanted to say that I agree with you about all your random facts about yourself, except I have a NookColor instead of a Kindle, but other than that, they're all true for me too! Anyway, I hope you're having a wonderful Friday! :)

Oh, Wicked Lovely seems like too dangerous a world for me.

I always have too many books going on at once! I'm down to just two right now.

I forget the names when I review too! Drives me insane! Even if I just finished. Sigh. I'm a new follower! My FF is at Coffee Table Press

My choice is the Myron Bolitar series by Harlan Coben. I haven't read the Wicked Lovely series.

omg, i always forget the narrator's name too! I seriously have to go back and look in the book. Then, I feel like I didn't pay attention, but I think I just get lost in the book, and names go by the wayside. It's terrible.
i'm your 50th follower! YAY! :)

I haven't read the Wicked Lovely series but I've heard nothing but good things about it! It may have to be added to the ever increasing TBR pile!

Great blog, glad I visited from the Hop!

Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

Happy Hop Friday!

I'm loving the answers this week! I get obsessed about books I haven't read either! LOL. I can spend all day daydreaming about certain books and I don't even know what they are about sometimes.
Thanks for hopping by!
