Hopping on Follow Friday

I'm participating in the Follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee's View :)

This week's question is:
Who are You the Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

Oh dear. Talking about me. <sarcasm font>I just love doing that.</sarcasm font>
I'm 20 years old, I study biology and I love sushi. I'm also very random. I like throwing completely unrelated information (see sushi tidbit above) in the middle of a sentence. I'm also a firm believer that if there's nothing you can do about it, don't think about it. It's worked for me so far. But then again, my attention span on any subject is approximately 5 seconds.

I spend my days tapping away on my phone, try daily to convince my best friend to get a twitter account (no luck so far) and just generally boss people around. I'm extremely persistent. Extremely.
Amazingly, no one 's tried to murder me yet. It's the size. It confuses people into thinking I'm harmless.

Book Blogger Hop

I've also signed up for the Book Blogger Hop over at Crazy for books. I have lots of hopping to do this week :)

This week's question is:
"If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?"

So, after scrolling through my to-buy shelf on goodreads for 3 hours (5 minutes), this is what I came up with.

Thank you for stopping by! And happy hopping!

(I think my laptop is going to explode from the number of tabs I have open right now...)

New follower here.

Oh I like sushi. But usually I'm very choosy about what kinds I want to buy and eat. My friend is big on sushi...so it kinds of gets to me.

Hey new follower here (christashookedonbooks.blogspot.com)
I love sushi too and there's no sushi places in the town I`ve been living in for the past year! It's torture!
Your blog looks good! I`m looking forward to future posts.

@ Nadea Ruzmen: I'm picky in the sense that I only like tuna and salmon. But I loev pretty much every declinaison of those, soooo.... I just really really love sushi. I don't think it's normal to fantasize about salmon.

@ ChristaJLS: oh no! Oh my god. Well, I guess you could always buy frozen salmon and order sushi rice, dry seaweed and rice vinegar and soy sauce or stock up on them whenever you get in a big city. But idk how much that costs where you are (they're pretty cheap here). I regularly make home made sushi, so I could help you out if you need :)

Hooray Elizabeth Scott! You've got nice taste x) I've become a new follower as well. And I find it cool that you study biology! I've heard it's really hard though. Sushi is my favourite. It's something everyone should eat. :)

Wow! What a great question this week. I always peek at other people's book piles at the checkout link at B&N. That doesn't make me a voyeur, does it?

The exhibitionist in me has posted my own bookstore shopping list -- and it's not as predictable as you may think!

Hop on over to my blog for all the suspense and chills of my TBR list - http://www.howardsherman.net

Happy Hop Friday!

Hopping by! If you like Dystopian and don't mind leaving YA for a while, Margaret Atwood has three great novels, The Handmaid's Tale, Oryx & Crake and The Year of the Flood. Orwell's 1984 is a classic. Atwood also wrote The Penelopliad, which is an interesting take on the myth of Odysseus.
