This week's question:

Circle time! Time to share. What character in a book would you most like to be, what character in a book would you most like to date?

I have to say I agree with Al (this friday's feature) and being Mac from the Fever series would be really nice. Only I would want to date V'lane. And I'm totally ignoring the end of Shadowfever (there, that's not spoilery, right?)

The thing is, my favorite characters to date are all in books with a setting I wouldn't want to be in. Like Adam from If I Stay (yeah... Needless to say, I would never want to be Mia.)
Oh! Tucker. I would definitely want to date Tucker from Unearthly. But would I want to be Clara? I'm too lazy to be an angel.
Sigh. I think I'm just doomed to stay in the real world.

Which book blogger would you most like to meet in real life?

Okay, my answer(s) will probably come off as stalkerish because I'm new here and haven't really made any friends yet. 

In the "she's so awesome but I'd be too intimidated to actually say anything to her" category, I's say anyone from The Book Lantern. They're all so eloquent and smart and always talk about thought-provoking things. I love their posts.

In the "she's so awesome and I want to violate her bookshelves because she has the same taste than me and she's amazing and funny" category, I would LOVE to meet Honey @ Sniff Books, Not Drugs because she's like my other bloggy half. But I think the world wouldn't survive. Also, Small Review (who has awesome, awesome discussion posts). Because I just can't pick just one. I'm annoying like that.

What is on your current playlist right now?

I'm currently making my way through all of Ludovico Einaudi's songs. I love instrumental music and his music is the most gorgeous thing ever.
Some Florence + the Machine, Aerosmith, lots of old Linkin Park songs and People In Planes, and a cover of Small Town Boy by Paradise Lost that I can't get out my head. I'm a bit random with my choices, and it mostly depends on my mood/what the shuffle mode comes up with.

If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?

Of course! I don't read all the author's books in a row, of course, but I'll definitely check out the goodreads pages of the ones that look good (or every book, depending on the awesomeness of the book I read) and will  frenetically add them to my (humongous) tbr list.

Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100FACTSABOUTME, GIVE US FIVE BOOK RELATED SILLY FACTS ABOUT YOU.

Silly, you say? That's good. Silly is my specialty.

1. I can be obsessed with a book I've not even read (see my daydreams about Abandon by Meg Cabot).

2. I love my Kindle. I don't understand how I ever lived without it. I used to have to wait to read books! Can you imagine? Me neither.

3. When reading an actual paper copy, I need the book to stay in pristine condition. If the pages are dogeared or the cover is bent, I get twitchy.

4. I have book ADD. I want to start approximately 10 books in the time it takes me to read one. Fortunately, I can stop myself or I'd never actually finish anything.

5. I often forget the narrator's name when I review a book.

I think  it would be the Wicked Lovely series. The faeries world is intriguing, enchanting and scary while keeping this mysterious, alluring air that just draws you (and me) in. I'd love to sit down and have a chat with Niall (and um... Do other stuff, too.)

How did you come up with your blog name?
It actually started on goodreads. I kept seeing my friend Emily adding books to her currently-reading shelf and finishing them the same day. After a while, in my usual crazy/random fashion, I tweeted her something like "What do you do with your books? DO YOU EAT THEM???" and she replied "YES, I DO. AND YOU EAT THEM WITH ME" (I'm keeping the caps-lock to stay as authentic as possible :p). Ever since, whenever we email each other about books we talk about eating them somewhere along the line.

Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?

I can't. I tried several times to read more than one book at a time and my brain just doesn't work that way. If I put a book down and don't pick it back up as soon as I get the chance, it means I'm not captivated by it and I'll eventually put it on the dreaded on-hold shelf.

Oh dear. Talking about me. <sarcasm font>I just love doing that.</sarcasm font>I'm 20 years old, I study biology and I love sushi. I'm also very random. I like throwing completely unrelated information (see sushi tidbit above) in the middle of a sentence. I'm also a firm believer that if there's nothing you can do about it, don't think about it. It's worked for me so far. But then again, my attention span on any subject is approximately 5 seconds. 
I spend my days tapping away on my phone, try daily to convince my best friend to get a twitter account (no luck so far) and just generally boss people around. I'm extremely persistent. Extremely. Amazingly, no one 's tried to murder me yet. It's the size. It confuses people into thinking I'm harmless. 

I've also signed up for the Book Blogger Hop over at Crazy for books. I have lots of hopping to do this week :)

This week's question is:

"If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?"

So, after scrolling through my to-buy shelf on goodreads for 3 hours (5 minutes), this is what I came up with.
